Every so often BP posts an open invitation for their impromptu Tattoo Day events. Since starting in 2013, hundreds of clients, friends and strangers have been inked. Free Tattoos, food and music all day. David Pinto, Jenna Bouma, Pacing Tiger, Ross K. Jones, RKT and Scott Campbell have all Tattoo'd at Beta Petrol's L.A., NYC and Portland studios.

BP, along with Kill Your Idols, worked with Converse to put together a three day party at Art Basel in Miami. We took over a giant loft space and covered the walls with photocopies of classic punk rock flyers from our book Fucked Up and Photocopied. Bands played all day and night for three days, we gave away lots of shoes. At the end, we invited the crowd to go crazy and tear down the flyers to keep for themselves.

BP has established a tradition of celebrating and showcasing our own version of music based events at Austin's SXSW Music conference. We've hosted parties with a wide range of up and coming bands, created discussion panels about music and the power it has – especially as relates to advertising and brands. We've created events at art gallery spaces, movie screenings, creative workshops and even our annual after hours 2AM Lamar Street Pedestrian Bridge free concert, catered to hardcore music lovers. In partnership with brands such as Converse, LEVIS and Ray Ban along with artists such as Trash Talk, Thee Oh Sees, No Age, The Spits, Fucked Up, OFF!, The Vivian Girls, Hoax and Ty Segal, Beta Petrol has been hosting showcases at SXSW since 2004.
